The Voodoo Falcon started life as a 1963.5 Falcon Sprint that was re-engineered by Mike Maier Inc. and Tom Kirkham for supercar like performance.

Leave it up to Jorgen Moller, CEO of SnapLock Industries and makers of RaceDeck flooring, to derive the premise of what he calls the VooDoo Falcon – an idea that has been stirring in his mind for a few years is now nearing completion. A car that can truly do it all from weekend errand running, to week-long road trips, but also be a terror on any given track. With that in mind, Jorgen reached out to Mike at Mike Maier Inc. who has built a reputation of performance-designed suspension systems for Blue Oval street machines.

It’s late afternoon on a Thursday and I’m in Hayward, California – a working class city on the east side of the San Francisco Bay. I’m strapped into a bucket seat on the passenger side of Mike Maier’s 1966 Ford Mustang as we rumble down the street, casually passing liquor stores and elementary schools.

Other than wide tires and a dropped stance, this Mustang doesn’t look much different from the countless other Mustang coupes out there, but from the moment you hear this car approaching you know there’s something very different about it.
