Description
The Mustang high offset shock tower brace kit is simple in design yet very effective, and offers additional clearance for air cleaners or other space requirements. Triangulating the shock towers to the firewall with rigid mounts give unsurpassed strength compared to other brands.
Our design mimics the original style used on the Shelby cars, but with reduced weight and clean lines. The original component was made from solid steel with beads rolled in for additional strength. Notice what it doesn’t have: pivots. We believe stiffening components should have solid junctions rather than pivots which allow the body to flex. The Mustang shock tower brace kit mounts to the existing bolt patterns on both the shock towers and firewall, no drilling required.
This is an effective solution for tightening up the front end of the car. Tie these in with a set of our subframe connectors and an X-Brace (or just order the complete kit) and you’ll have a much stiffer and more modern chassis.
We also offer a standard shock tower brace for traditional installs, and an EFI shock tower brace designed to clear most EFI systems.

I saw there were no reviews yet so I thought Id put one up. Got this as a Christmas present from my family who want to help out with my V8 conversion. Beware of the shock towers leaning in as the cars age and rust. This will make fitment difficult but I can assure you the part is perfect. Turns out my car is pretty straight and this thing dropped in no problem you should have 40 inches wall to wall. I had to re use my old hardware everywhere as there was none in the box. This should help keep those towers from sagging in the future with the heavier engine. Now I need to get the rest of the stiffening kit and all the front suspension and steering bits!

i would just have to say, that there is no review good enough for this man and his products.. i purchased one of these recently, and all I can say is “WOW”. I got this with the dyno pro front brake conversion and his mod1 front suspension package. I have never felt my old coupe feel as stable and as smooth as it is right now. the install was simple and looks well with the anodized surface to match the engine bay. thanks mike!

So the picture of the 8 stack setup in the product description with Mike’s brace is from my car, and I should have left a review sooner! Mike and his team were amazing at helping to develop this variation of the already great tower brace for my application as the 8 stack setup would have conflicted with the standard brace. The build quality is off the charts with this brace, and the fact that it has slotted holes for the towers for accommodating the inherent variation of these old cars is another example of attention to detail of Mike’s products. I was happy to get rid of the two piece shock tower export brace to replace it with this one piece version. Thanks again Mike!
