The Wilwood Mustang Dynapro 6 front big brake kit is the perfect street performance kit. Simple to install and quality stops every time with confidence. Ideal for street, light autocross and light track use.
This kit features forged billet DynaPro 6 piston differential bore calipers that provide enhanced performance of a larger pad compared to four piston calipers. DynaPro 6 calipers utilize stainless pistons to resist corrosion and reduce heat transfer from the pads. Another unique feature is Wilwood’s exclusive Quick-E brake pads retention clips for simplified pad service without caliper removal.
For pads, we include Wilwood’s BP-20, which provides increased friction levels with extended temperature range over BP-10. BP-20 has a progressive response rate as pedal pressure and temperatures increase to provide confident, repeated stops and outstanding modulation characteristics. The unique metallic composite formulation provides an aggressive feel without the harsh noise, high rotor abrasion, and extreme dust levels associated with high metallic based compounds.
To complete the installation, precision machined and application specific brackets come along with premium grade hardware and alignment shims for a secure and accurate installation.
Mike Maier Inc highly recommends the usage of a 1″ master cylinder & proportioning valve combo kit to complete the installation of your brake kit. The 1″ master cylinder has been tuned to meet the requirements of the street driver as well as autocross/track driver. The pedal feedback will be responsive, yet easy to modulate. The proportioning valve has been mounted to the master cylinder for ease of mounting using Wilwood supplied bracketry. The proportioning valve will allow brake bias to be tuned to your application and usage
