64-73 Mustang 500lb Coil Spring

Description

These coils are intended to replace the stock coils. Increasing the spring rate to 500lb/inch provides added stability during hard turns and braking without making the ride quality too harsh. This spring rate has been used as the baseline for performance suspensions for 1964-1973  Mustangs for decades now.

Commonly referred to as 620 coils and/or 500lb coils, these springs have had several names throughout the years. These coils are .625″ wire diameter and the spring rate is 500lbs/inch.

We sell these coils at a free height of 13″. We intend you to trim these to fit your ride height needs. It would be very difficult for us to nail your ride height from our office. For added information on how to set ride heights please check out our video for some good tips.
