Upgrade your MOD 1 Rear Suspension kit with the unsung hero of Mustang suspension, our narrow leaf springs. We reinvented our standard leafs, giving you the easiest way to slam a 315 under the rear of a classic Mustang. Inspired by the old trans-am race cars, our narrowed leafs are a scant 1 3/4″ wide with a slightly stiffer spring rate than our standard leafs, but offer just as much strength, responsiveness, and ride quality as their wider brothers.

Description

The Mustang MOD 1 Rear Suspension kit with JRi Shocks improves on our standard MOD 1 Rear with a pair of custom-valved JRi shocks and a special set of leaf spring plates. These plates adapt the end of the shock to the plate using a special fitting, allowing us to run JRis in the rear for the first time without having to upgrade to our MOD 2 setup. Designed with simplicity in mind, the kit utilizes MOD 165# leaf springs and our tried and true MOD panhard rod. In addition to these products we include polyurethane front leaf spring eyelet bushings, u-bolts, & rubber shackle kit. This kit brings top of the line performance to your rear suspension with minimal installation.

Add a set of lowering blocks to help bring the rear down and dial in the stance.(Optional-Recommended for 1964.5-1966 Mustangs. Available in 1/2″ and 1″)
